PHARMACY OPPURTUNITIES

DID YOU KNOW THAT PHARMACY IS ONE OF THE HARDEST COURSE IN THE WORLD?

There are a lot of oppurtunities in the field of Pharmacy.

First and the most common is the Community Pharmacy

Pharmacists serve patients and the community by providing information and advice on health, providing medications and associated services, and by referring patients to other sources of help and care, such as physicians, when necessary.

Second is the Hospital Pharmacy

pharmacists in hospitals are responsible for systems which control drug distribution and are designed to assure that each patient receives the appropriate medication, in the correct form and dosage, at the correct time.
Third is Manufacturing Pharmacy

pharmaceutical industry which produces chemicals, prescription and on prescription drugs, and other health products. Pharmacists do such things as marketing, research and product development, quality control, sales, and administration.

Alot more Fields in Pharmacy but these three are the most common.

BEING A PHARMACY STUDENT

YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW TO:

BE DISCIPLINED IN EVERY ASPECT AS A PHARMACIST

Eventually, you will deal with patients in a community or hospital setting in the field of Pharmacy. You should learn how to be a good healthcare provider as well.

LEARN TO KEEP HANDOUTS AND REFERENCES!

This references can be used as well during the Board exams.

Also, you need to learn HOW TO BE ACCURATE IN COMPUTATIONS AND MEASUREMENTS!

In dealing with Manufacturing Pharmacy, each detail of the computation is needed for the whole manufacturing of the drug products and excipients.

As a Person

You should know when and who to hang out

not all the time, you will always study, somehow, you need to relax and try to see the good side of being a student. :)

As you can see, I was a frustated Thomasian hahaha! So I usually visit my friends here and at the same time my dream school, UNIVERSITY OF SANTO TOMAS I don't know how it feels to be here, its like my third home. :) Maybe because I have a lot of friends that that school. ;| hahaha!

But until the end of the day, I still need to study for me to succeed in my chosen career.

you need to focus, learn to understand everything you need to understand. It may be hard but it will be worth it in the end :)
